Khoai tây gọt vỏ thái miếng nhỏ, hấp chín khoai rồi nghiền nát. Thịt heo xay nhỏ hoặc băm nhỏ cho vào bát, thêm hành lá thái nhỏ và một ít rượu nấu ăn vào trộn đều, ướp thịt khoảng 15 phút. Cho thịt vào chảo với một ít dầu ăn, đảo đều cho thịt săn lại.
Thêm nước tương, đường vào đảo đều cho thấm gia vị. Sau đó cho thịt đã xào vào tô khoai tây nghiền trộn đều cùng một chút muối.
Đập trứng vào bát đánh tan, dùng tay ngắt từng miếng bột khoai tây đã trộn thịt viên tròn rồi ấn dẹt. Lăn từng viên bánh qua trứng rồi bột chiên xù sao cho bột áo đều miếng bánh.
Đun nóng dầu ăn trong chảo, chiên cho đến khi bánh chín vàng đều hai mặt là được.
