Great features. Couldn’t be happier.
This is the successful result of a long search to find an economical frother with all the features I wanted. Pros: Smartly designed frother with stainless steel pitcher takes very little drainboard space and looks great being left out. The pitcher’s wide mouth makes it very easy to clean however in practice it’s usually enough for me to just rinse and swish. This frother gives the option of frothing for one drink or for a few at a time, i.e. it offers larger capacity than most. The milk is heated so it’s plenty hot in a beverage but doesn’t scald or scorch on the bottom of the container. I held out for an all-stainless container because of the health problems related to heating in plastic. This pitcher has a nice, solid feel. Froths nicely and has a pleasant single tone when it’s finished. If you want less froth or less heat you can just take the pitcher off the base before it “dings” and the base will turn itself off automatically. Cons: None. Observation: This small appliance looks so nice that it’s easy to forget that the base is actually a HEATER. When you first take the pitcher off the heater just after it has frothed-and-heated, reasonably enough, the base of the pitcher is hot. So when you pick up the pitcher just after it dings, give the bottom of the the pitcher the same respect you would to the bottom of a sauce pan you’d just lifted off a hot burner. I make it a policy to just let the pitcher LIVE on the base any time I’m not pouring from it or rinsing it out.

Fun Foamer
This is a cute and useful little gadget. I have heated and foamed milk in it a couple of times now, and got the results I haven't been able to get with an electric whisk. I have one of the pitchers you pump, but I have to heat the milk separately for that. This made nice, thick, hot foam for my espresso drinks at the push of a button. I also heated water for soup and it worked pretty well for that. It doesn't boil the water, just makes it hot. There are decent instructions (you don't need many). It feels nice and sturdy. Oh, if you get it, let me inform you that the whisk attachment is obvious, but the other one is stuck to the bottom of the electric base. I had to look for it for a while until I read the bit that told me where it was. You're welcome.

Perfect little frother for me
I have waited several months to write this review. This device is fantastic! Easy to clean and consistent. The froth holds up and can be made out of almond, skim or whole milk. The advantage is the amount of milk you can froth at one time. From just under the top of the black frothing attachment (perfect amount for a latte) to enough for several. Highly recommend.

Easy to use with great results....nice design.
Love this frother/hot chocolate maker. Very versatile. Easy to use and simple instructions for multiple uses. I frothed French vanilla creamer and first sip was like marshmallows! Heated milk for cocoa flakes for tasty hot cocoa.

A luxury!
I got this for Christmas, and have only used it three times, so I will update if anything goes wrong. I have only used the machine to make hot chocolate but am very impressed with the results. I haven't tried using powdered mix, only low fat chocolate milk. The results are delicious. Lots of froth and enough for at least two people, in just a couple of minutes. It isn't as good as the hot cocoa from the old vending machines, but no hot chocolate is, at least IMHO. I plan to use this device to froth cold milk in the summer. Clean up is a breeze. I hand wash the carafe with the lid immediately after use, even though they are dishwasher safe. To address the heating issues, I usually like coffee and cocoa scalding hot. While this machine doesn't give you a drink that hot, it is very warm, still to the point it almost burns my tongue. I am so pleased with the product that I have started recommending to family members.

I wish I'd bought this sooner!
I'd always used espresso machines to steam milk in the past - had no idea these things existed! My SO drinks a chai every morning, and buying it from the coffee shop was adding up. For this small investment, I have made delicious homemade chai, cafe au lait, and hot cocoas every single day! The machine has worked reliably for months, very easy to clean. Quick rinse and a wash with soap in the evening. The milk on "froth" mode is delightfully fluffy and very tasty. Makes enough milk for one large or two smaller drinks in one go. Highly recommended by this steamed milk lover.

Easy to use, saves money
This item was a gift, the recipient told me he loves it, instead of having to leave earlier for work every morning to wait in a crowded drive through line at the coffee shop, as well as run out for a fresh cup of hot chocolate, he is able to make a whole pot of creamy, frothy hot chocolate and fill a thermos which lasts him throughout his work day. Also, he is saving a lot of money by making his own hot beverage. Also great for the winter season here in New England.

Good little machine
One month in and it seems to work great! Less noisy than the Capresso and easier to clean. I LOVE that it's all stainless steel, no plastic and no teflon to wear away (like the Capresso one). These machines can get a bit screechy because they work with magnets (like those little toy ballerinas that spin on the mirror - if you ever had one). It doesn't hold a massive amount of milk - like one big mug and a quarter - and I use homemade almond milk, maca, collagen peptides and matcha so I don't get tons of froth but it does make it warm and smooth. Also, even if you are just making a mug at a time, it doesn't seem to require time to heat up again, you can just pour it out and start over. I know these things have short lives but this feels pretty sturdy.

Highly recommend!!!
Very pleased with this purchase. I previously owned an earlier model by Secura and loved it....except it was hard to clean. This is very easy p to clean and produces consistent creamy foam. The frother arrived at my house very quickly. Very happy with my purchase from this company. I would absolutely purchase again!

Definitely worth the money!
I wanted a milk frother, but I didn't want to spend a lot in case it turned out to not be my thing. Well, I'm glad I made the plunge and went with the Secura. The first thing I made was my favorite nighttime beverage, hot chocolate. I used 2% milk and a packet of Land O Lakes Chocolate Supreme, which is the best packaged hot cocoa mix I've ever tried. The result was a rich and creamy drink, so that sold me on the frother. I've tried all of the other options since and have found no disappointment with the results. As advertised, the unit is easy to use and clean. I can't imagine any of the more expensive products would perform better. I will no doubt purchase more for gifts.
