Bánh bao trà xanh nhân khoai tím xinh xắn, vỏ bánh xốp mềm màu xanh, thơm hương trà, nhân khoai bùi bùi, hấp dẫn. Cách làm bánh bao: Hòa tan 200ml sữa tươi không đường với 50g đường và 10g men khô với nhau, sau đó cho 400g bột bánh bao vào, dùng tay nhồi thành khối đồng nhất.
Nhồi bột bánh bao cho mịn trong 10 phút, sau đó cho 2 muỗng canh dầu ăn và tiếp tục nhồi bột thêm 10 phút nữa.
Pha 5g bột trà xanh với chút nước cho tan rồi cho vào bột, nhồi cho tới khi màu quyện đều với bột và được bột bánh bao trà xanh ưng ý nhé.
Trong thời gian chờ ủ bột bánh bao trà xanh (khoảng 1 tiếng đồng hồ), luộc chín khoai lang tím, lột vỏ, nghiền mịn và bắt viên làm nhân bánh bao.
Sau 1 giờ khi bột bánh bao đã nở thêm và hoàn thành phần nhân khoai tím. Chia khối bột làm 8 phần đều, vê tròn ấn dẹp rồi cho ngân khoai lang tím vào, bọc kín lại. Đem hấp bánh bao trà xanh nhân khoai lang tím trong 20-25 phút. Sau khi bánh bao hấp chín, mở nắp vung, hạ nhỏ lửa, để yên thêm 5 phút là có thể lấy bánh khởi xửng hấp và thưởng thức rồi đấy.
