Because when thanos snapped he only think of primary being or dominating species of every planet

Because it's a matter of how you define life? You can be curious as well what happened to gamers: did the number stay the same because they had no life in the first place, or did the number their virtual lifes just snapped in half? If you want to piss of some murricans, you can as well ask what happened to a unborn child?

Gabrichidze Nodar

Mitochondria are the powerhouse of the cell

i think they did disappear. 2 reasons: 1. no reason for semi-post-apocalyptic earth if half of humanity disappears (ok, maybe a few nuclear power plants out of control) and humanity disappeared at random, meaning density fluctuated by same amount all over Earth - this is seen in the first part, especially when Ant-man returns 2. when Banner brings everybody back, Ant-man sees birds populating trees outside the Avengers facility (i'm not sure about this, but perhaps the trees reappeared, have to watch it again to confirm)

Pascale Blangenois

the fact of the matter is. was his plan to wipe out half the earth/ planet every 60 years. earths population in 1960 was 3.5 billion and its now 7.5. But its a movie boys why ask for logic.

Lou Olmos

because Thanos' plan was retarded, that's why

Océane Beauregard

Because it's badly written

Mil Lhet

His whole idea was living in peace and prosperity for living creatures, he wiped out just obstacles for that. It was literally the only thing they explained in infinity war. I mean c'monn

Ggja Tabo Tabo

Living beings, plants don't have brains, which doesn't makes them beings

Lindsay Henderson

why don't Thanos just double the resources than eliminating half of the population

Daveo Wilko

Maybe because plants aren’t alive?! Did yall even bother showing up to science class in middleschool?

Choze Young

Endgame spoiler. They did disappear, Ant-Man have seen some moss and birds sudden appearing inside avengers building.

Nicole Vivian

I think black widow reffers to it así "half of the creatures". Although i would consider fauna así a resource, to eat and clothing, etc. So he would be eliminating means of sustain too

James Henry Wilkey

Living CREATURES, pay attention ffs.

Mahalia Waitere

It wasn't addressed in the movie. Not important to the plot.

Helen Arturo Halili

I think it has a lot to do with what you want before you snap your fingers

Mariyam Faisal

Even if they did. Grass grows fast in 5 years
